2007-08 Great Ideas Competition

"Great Ideas Competition inspires the minds of young entrepreneurs while rewarding them for believing in their dreams and thinking outside the box. Together we can show the rest of the nation that entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well in Chattanooga."

 Mayor Ron Littlefield

Mission Possible: A Great Idea Can Earn You Money for College!

  • Must be a high school junior or senior attending a public, private or home school program within the Chattanooga / Hamilton County area.

  • The school with the highest number of entries wins $500 for school supplies.

  • The perfect computer lab assignment or school project—Great Ideas is fun, fast and paperless.

“This is a great way for kids to unleash their creativity… to ask themselves what do people need, what can I give back to society and how can I improve it?  Creating new ideas for business services and inventions allow them the opportunity to do just that.”
